James Horner

R.I.P., James Horner

At my age, I’ve come to expect personalities important to my childhood to disappear. One of those personalities just passed away. Among many others, Horner wrote the soundtracks for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1983), which were two of my favorite movies as a teenager (Wrath of Khan is still one of my favorites). Additionally, while I was much older when Braveheart and the Devil’s Own came out, I still listen to that music today. If you want to see his full list of credits, you’ll have to Google him. The list is just too long to post here. I’m sure you all have your favorites, even if you don’t realize it.
